Below are testimonials written in support of the work of Kosher Michigan:

"To Kosher Consumers Everywhere: Rabbi Jason Miller’s Kosher Michigan kashrut label represents a new type of kosher supervision: one whose focus is solely on enabling more institutions to become kosher for the benefit of those who are looking for reliable, affordable kashruth.  Because of this laudable goal he is able to certify restaurants and bakeries that other kashruth labels have not reached.

Now that Kosher Michigan is starting to help Chicago food institutions become kosher, I am excited to begin to work with Rabbi Miller to affirm that his label can meet the standards of Jewish ritual law that we have come to expect from our local kashruth agencies.  I have been impressed that Rabbi Miller, who is a halachic, kashruth expert in his own right, has been willing to work with Orthodox rabbis such as myself to implement their kosher needs based on Orthodox poskim.  Rabbi Miller has even been open to forming an Orthodox Rabbinic Advisory Council for the Kosher Michigan so that this label can represent for the widest swath of the Jewish community the highest standards of kashruth while remaining committed to enabling as many institutions as possible to meet those standards.

So let me welcome Kosher Michigan to Chicago! Over the coming months, as I have the opportunity along with other Orthodox rabbis to work with Rabbi Miller, I look forward to establishing this label of kashruth as one which will be unquestionably accepted not only in my synagogue community, but in Orthodox, Conservative and Reform synagogues throughout Chicagoland."

"While a rabbinical student at the Jewish Theological Seminary, Rabbi Jason Miller worked under my direct supervision in the Seminary's kitchen and cafetaria as a mashgiach (kosher supervisor), ensuring the highest level of kashrut. During this time, he and the other mashgichim met with me on an ongoing basis to study, in-depth, the laws of kashrut and kashrut supervision... he returned to the Seminary to study privately with me. He has also studied in the Rabbinical Assembly's "Rav Hamachshir" program. His advanced studies in the laws of kashrut and hashgacha (kashrut supervision) allow me to endorse his certification of restaurants, caterers, bakeries, and individual food products without reservation. I have a very positive reputation in the field of kashrut, and have always made myself available to Rabbi Miller for consultation and will continue to do so."

"Rabbi Miller's experience and dedication to the laws and standards of kashrut will ensure that the high standards of kashrut that have been present at Tamarack Camps in the past will continue.

Rabbi Miller's experience as a mashgiach at the Jewish Theological Seminary and his study with Rabbi Joel Roth give Rabbi Miller the proper background for this work."

Rabbi Steven Rubenstein
President, Rabbinical Assembly of Michigan
Spiritual Leader, Congregation Beth Ahm (Conservative)

"My company's been under the kosher supervision of Kosher Michigan since August 2008. We are proud to be a kosher establishment and have seen our business grow since become kosher. As a certified kosher business, we are able to establish more corporate accounts with Jewish institutions, including synagogues and Jewish day schools. Additionally, our clients now feel comfortable ordering our gift baskets and shiva baskets to be sent to kosher homes. Rabbi Jason Miller has been a pleasure to work with. He has educated our employees (Jewish and non-Jewish) about the intricacies of kosher law and made recommendations that have benefited our business's growth.  I highly recommend other businesses contact Kosher Michigan to explore the opportunity of moving their food business into the kosher marketplace."
