Rabbi Jason Miller founded Kosher Michigan, a kosher certification company, in 2008 after being hired as the rabbi and kosher supervisor of Tamarack Camps. He oversees all food ordering and meal preparation in the Jewish camping agency's kitchens, including its overnight camp and conference center.
Rabbi Miller is a graduate of the rabbinical school at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City where he also earned a master's degree in education. He has studied privately with kashrut expert Rabbi Joel Roth, and received advance certification from the International Rabbinical Assembly's Rav Hamakhshir program.
